They amassed control and locked their APIs, shutting down countless entrepreneurs and severely constraining the collective potential of the open web. Financial tools have been similarly restricted, with full access limited to the wealthy elite of a select few nation states. Blockchain technology renews the possibility of an open internet and an open financial system.
In order to achieve this potential, we need more beautiful, accessible design, and more compelling and engaging narratives. Current web3 applications are often difficult to use, confusing, and plagued with spam and scams. Public perception of the industry has been stained by these problems, clouding the collective vision of its power and potential.
